I had my site host run off on me without completing my e-commerce setup so I've been trying to figure it out on my own. I have everything setup and have an open account with Mals-e, ready to go as well as Paypal for payments.
The problem is under my system variable screen, under ckadmin, I only have the option of entering the Mals username and not the appropriate Mals server. Where can I put the server, such as www. or ww4??
When I try to add to cart I get an error message because there is nothing in front of the link, simply starts with aitsafe.com and all the other information. When I manually enter www or ww4 in front of the link, the cart works properly.
How can I fix this?? If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
My website is www.lindahardware.com if anybody needs it for reference. |

Hi
CKShop was retired several years ago and we do not provide support for it.
I would suggest you contact whoever setup the site for you and ask them to have a look.
We do offer a conversion script for old CKShop databases so they can be converted to CKGold. However you will need to purchase a CKGold license and the site design would need to be implemented into the CKGold templates.
Regards,

Hi
If I remember well, you only need to re-run the installation and there you can add the correct url and without deleting anything on your already deployed database.
Somewhere in the setup, you should be able to choose to rebuild the database or not and you should choose NOT to.
That is all I remember.
If I find other info, I will add it here.
Why don't use the new CKGOLD_3?
It has Mals-e now! _________________ Thanks

Just remembered.
Find the dbconfig.php file within the sit and edit the following line:
//Mals Server Prefix
$Mals_Server="www";
Replace the www with what you have - ie.e ww2 or ww3 or ww4
Be sure not to mess up your settings and keep the file out of reach of the Internet!
Ask your Host how to do that.
It should work straight away.
PS if you are not a advanced user, please make a copy or save it into your computer TWICE ! Then modify the file. _________________ Thanks
