I'd say on about 1/3 of our orders where PayPal is selected that the customer doesn't follow through and complete payment, even though it is placed as an order in CartKeeper. Has anyone else had this problem? Most of the customers I contact after the fact seem very confused and thought they did complete the process... I'm using Instant Payment Notification with PayPal, by the way.
Is this a problem with the way the PayPal process is designed or is this specific to the implementation of PayPal in Cartkeeper?
Thanks! |

Hi
If they are not completing the process it's on the PayPal side.
You might want to switch to web site payments pro which has a smoother process in PayPal. You could try adding more directions for people not familar with making payments in PayPal.

| I am using Paypal and works perfect. I do have some orders that are not completed but after a phone call to the customer I find that there Credit Card was declined by Paypal. That was the reason they didnt complete the order. Usually there is a good reason when the order is not completed. I also put a note on the email order confirmation I send them telling everyone : If your payment has not been completed, please contact us for other payment options, then I list some other options .... works great |
